This time, I am going to write about Americans' thinkings of nuclear plant.

Because of two big nuclear incident,  people tend to think to stop the nuclear plant in Europe.

However, American people do not think like them.

Although 32.6% of people against the nuclear plant, 35% of people strongly for it.

for the Japanese Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant disaster.

Before, I focused on how radiation is dangerous and what is changing for radiation. 

I noticed that many people want to know what the Japanese government doing right now.

The video is from Japan so only Japanese could understand, so I will explain about what they talk about a little bit.

Actually they are working on stopping the leaking of radioactive water.

But it is pretty difficult to proceed due to lack of workers.

Many workers quit their job because they are scared radiation. 

Even if there are many workers, it is still hard to complete their jobs because many new problems come out while they are working. 

For example, the amount of exposure dose suddenly increased in the place they are working.

If it happens, they require to ran away as soon as possible.

Workers cannot refuse exposure dose.

The average of they get the exposure dose in one day is about 44milli sV.

That the amount of ordinary human beings may be had in a year half.

People want to work in the place like that? Absolutely NO.

But someone should do that to stop radiation. 

Japanese future is now threatened.

No one knows what Japanese government is thinking.

Everyone knows that radiation does have bad effect on human bodies.

But do you know how human body is changed by radiation?

If people expose their bodies to radiation for long time, it is easy to have cancer and finally they die.

Many countries have nuclear plants today and still using it.

It has a lot of advantages of course, yet you should know the disadvantages and dangers of it.

Do you want to eat fish that is polluted by radiation?
No, nobody wants to eat that.
Today, the United States imports thousands millions of fishes from Japan.
Japanese government says these are safe that is why they are still exporting to other countries.
However, some sushi restaurants and some countries already stopped using fishes imported from Japan.
On the other hand, people in the US believe what the Japanese government said and keep eating it.
In fact, in Pacific Ocean, some fishes, which bodies are totally awkward, have been found.

It easilly make people do not continu to eat them, but fish is one of the people's important sources to live.
Therefore, eating Japanese fish or not became controversial topic.



Unfortunately

radiation has been found off the coast of Canada.
Because of radiation, creatures in the ocean would get hurt and die.
So fishermen of not only Japan but also Canada get angry.

Radiation does have negative effects on human body.
After Japanese people got injury by atomic bomb in 1945, some parts of their body
gradually stopped working and one month later, most of them died.

The radiation we have today is not so strong, but I think it influences human body.
And it is spreading out from Japan to all over the world.
Therefore, it is important to know which places already got radiation.

Today is March 11th. 

We already have passed 4 years since the earthquake.
I just pray for victims.

Here is an interesting news.
China started to construct the nuclear reactor again!
They restart after Japanese Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant had a problem of triple meltdown.

China has 23 nuclear reactors, but they are still constructing.

Chinese government said that they are going to save coals, so they have created the limit of the amount of it, which is 4.2 tons per year by 2020.

However, China is still developing, so it is pretty difficult to do that.

I hope that many countries start making nuclear reactors like China to prevent horrible problems.

It is a date that the big earthquake occurred in Japan.
Thousands of people died from huge tsunami.
However, tsunami has attacked not only people but also nuclear plant.
Because of that, the plant suddenly stopped working and no one could repair it.

Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) said that about 300 tons of water which is polluted by radiation is leaking to nearby Pacific Ocean every day.

It might affects on life of human and creatures of the sea.
Fortunately, the UN committee told that the level of leaked-radiation is very low, and util now, no radiation-related health problems is found.
Japan will be a host country of Olympic in 2020.
Even if the reliable committee or governments say people do not have to care about radiation, they need to be sensible for this issue.
